The Spouse of the Deputy President Pastor Dorcas Rigathi has called on university students to always get someone to talk to whenever in hard situations.
Speaking on Friday during her visit to Karatina University in Nyeri County Pastor Dorcas challenged the students to stay focused in their dreams and never to give up.
She was visiting the institution in her continued alcohol, drugs and substance abuse prevention program in her office.
She has so far held talks in Nairobi University, Daystar University, Masai Mara University, Mt.Kenya University and several high schools.
“The Kenya Kwanza Government believes in the potential of the youth to contribute to the manufacturing, agriculture, and technology sectors with rich and transformative ideas. Institutions of higher learning are a goldmine of potential and ideas, and when well harnessed, they will offer critical solutions for the growth of our local and global economies.”She said.
Pastor Dorcas said her office is working on setting up call centers at universities for easy counseling. She also called on Kenyans to be patient with the government to deliver on its promises to Kenyans.
Others present included Nyeri Deputy Governor David Kinaniri and Mathira MP Eric Wamumbi among others.
